The Blue Flag is a label that annually evaluates municipalities and marinas that are continuously undertaking sustainable tourism development policies. Teragir is the association that supports this label. This non-profit association, founded in 1983, assists the company's stakeholders in their sustainable development projects through 6 action programs, including PAVILLON BLEU.
The beaches, Pavillon Bleu Certified, have equipment minimizing the impacts of tourist use, for the envionmental effects are substantial. This label is well-regarded by French people as 8 out of 10 French people choose their beaches according to this label. For marinas, the label awards the places where protection of the environment and the marine area is a priority.
